For Immediate Release:
Superjoint Ritual Unleashes Devastating DVD Live In Dallas, TX 2002 Through Sanctuary Visual Entertainment On September 24th
Philip Anselmo-Fronted Project Plans October Tour
After opening the world's eyes to the menacing brutality heavy metal can produce with their debut album Use Once And Destroy, Philip Anselmo's band of volatile aggressors Superjoint Ritual topped the Metal Radio charts and plowed across the U.S. on a blistering tour.
The band's live show possessed the potent unstoppable force equivalent of a hydrogen bomb: a live show so powerful it HAD to be documented on film.
Therefore, on September 24th, Sanctuary Visual Entertainment will unleash the most devastating of live DVD performances with Superjoint Ritual's Live In Dallas, TX 2002! The 11-song full-frame live set was mastered in 5.1 Surround and DTS Digital Sound for a maximum in-your-face aural assault.
Live In Dallas, TX 2002 also features exclusive 'behind the scenes' and interview footage filmed especially for this release, as well as the intense music videos for the band's singles "Fuck Your Enemy" and "The Alcoholik.”
Superjoint Ritual's sonic brutality is the culmination of its unpredictable band members. Fronted by Pantera/Down vocalist Philip Anselmo, the band also features guitarists Jimmy Bower (also of Down and Eyehategod) and Kevin Bond, bassist III, and drummer Joe Fazzio. Live In Dallas, TX 2002 is the visual evidence of power harnessed on Use Once And Destroy, which CMJ deemed a "pleasantly violent experience."
The set list includes:
It Takes No Guts
4 Songs
Ozena
The Alcoholik
Drug Your Love
Fuck Your Enemy
Antifaith
Starvation Trip
Everyone Hates Everyone
Haunted Hated
Superjoint Ritual
Superjoint Ritual will detonate the road once again, beginning in Orlando, FL on October 7th, to support Live In Dallas, TX 2002 in which hard music fans can expect more 'good friendly violent fun.' Tour dates to be announced soon. Stay tuned to www.superjointritual.com for updates.
