Slipknot’s performance at the London Arena on February 16th will be filmed for an upcoming DVD, which is tentatively scheduled to be released in September through Roadrunner. In addition, some of the live footage, along with scenes from the Resident Evil movie, will be spliced together for the video for “My Plague” (New Abuse Mix). The sing is the band’s latest single and is featured on the soundtrack to the film, which was inspired by the popular video game. The soundtrack is due on March 12th while the movie opens in theaters on March 15th.
In related news, you can catch members of the Slipknot all over the BBc in the coming months. Percussionist Shawn “The Clown” Crahan will partake in a live chat via BBC's Radio 1 on February 19th at 12:30am, while vocalist Corey Taylor will be co-hosting BBC's Rock Show on Radio 1 with Mary Anne Hobbs on February 26th between midnight and 2am.
