AIR RAID was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2009 by guitarist Andreas “Andy” Johansson. After a two-track demo and EP offering, AIR RAID finally released their debut album Night of The Axe in 2012. Their latest offering, and fourth studio album overall, Fatal Encounter, is set for a February 24, 2023 release date. I had the chance to catch up with Andy Johansson and vocalist Fredrik Werner ahead of the album’s first single being released.
