Taking their cues from the Faces, Stones and Black Crowes, Diamond Dogs careen into their sophomore full-length like a drunken sailor looking for a fight. Featuring Hellacopters pianist Anders "Boba Fett" Lindstrom on guitars alongside six other rockin' dudes, Diamond Dogs fuse bluesy barroom boogie with R&B strut and hard rock swagger to create a sounds that fans of classic rock are sure to dig, maybe even a few blues-based metal heads too.

From the opening salvo of "Charity Song," the band are in full on Amorica-mode, penning drug-addled anthems for boozers and brawlers alike. "Bound To Ravage" is a shit kickin', barn-burning rocker ala the Stones "Rip This Joint" or any other Chuck Berry-inspired rocker. Want one of those sugar sweet, Rod Stewart-like ballads? Got it with "Sad To Say I'm Sorry." Want one of those Gospel-tinged blues ballads? Got it in the form of "Somebody Else's Lord." Dig those Crowes-y mid-tempo groovers? "Check out "All Strung Out." Yes, folks, it's all here. Original, hell no. Mighty rockin', you betcha!

Short and sweet, rockin' yet rollin', Too Much Is Always Better… is a dose of straight up rock n' roll and is just what the doctor ordered in these days of nu-metal bombast and garage-punk wannabes. So saddle up to the bar, order a shot, blast this one on the ol' jukebox, and watch as the crowd gets all sexed up and unruley and the bottles start to fly.
