WOVENWAR is streaming their debut self-titled album now on metalblade.com! The album, which Revolver Magazine heralded as "more multifaceted than anything by AS I LAY DYING, and Decibel Magazine added that "WOVENWAR sounds confident, vital, and even liberated on this splendid debut", will be released in North America on Tuesday, August 5. WOVENWAR are wrapping up their tour with Zakk Wylde's infamous BLACK LABEL SOCIETY playing as direct support to the metal heavyweights. The tour kicked off on July 17 in Cincinnati, OH and wraps up in Albuquerque, NM on August 4. Just a few days after the band returns home from the BLACK LABEL SOCIETY tour they will be playing three So Cal album release shows including a special album release party at Nick, Jordan, and Phil's new club in San Diego the Brick By Brick following their first ever hometown show at Soma. Local fans can head to the Brick By Brick to hang with the band, celebrate the release of their debut album, and have a chance to win prizes provided by WOVENWAR, Metal Blade Records, MotorCult, and Dirtbag Clothing. About the band: WOVENWAR features the talents of JORDAN MANCINO (drums), NICK HIPA (guitar), PHIL SGROSSO (guitar) and JOSH GILBERT (bass) of San Diego, California based metal act AS I LAY DYING, and SHANE BLAY (vocals) of OH, SLEEPER. Over approximately the last year, WOVENWAR completed work on the new material recorded with producer Bill Stevenson (DESCENDENTS, BLACK FLAG) with mixing duties handled by Colin Richardson (SLIPKNOT, MACHINE HEAD, TRIVIUM).
