In addition to Sebastian Bach, Suicide Girls will now be opening for Guns N' Roses on their North American tour from November 13th to December 20th. Self described as "The Most Dangerous Burlesque Tour In The World," Suicide Girls are praised by the NY Voice as "a show you are sure never to forget, with firearms, hula hoops and more chocolate sauce than an ice cream parlour."
On Sunday, November 26th at 2PM Queensryche frontman Geoff Tate and guitarists Mike Stone and Michael Wilton will be holding a meet and greet lunch at Arizona Honda (4710 South Palo Verde Road - 520-748-7202) in Tucson, AZ. Prizes will be given away including an autographed leather motorcycle jacket. Fans are urged to bring a food donation for Tucson Community Food Bank. Geoff and Stone will lead a motorcycle ride back to Tucson Music Hall where they will be performing that evening.
God Forbid have teamed up with video production company MyGoodEye to work on a special video for the song 'Chains of Humanity' in celebration of their upcoming headlining tour with the same name. The video will be comprised of footage and photos spanning their entire career, and will help launch GFTV, which is an upcoming project God Forbid is working on currently. The band, along with acclaimed director David Brodsky (God Forbid, GWAR, THE RED CHORD) are asking fans, friends, family and anyone else that has photo or video files having to do with God Forbid to share them for the project. It will be put together as a tribute and thank you to their fans that have supported them through the years. This is not limited to just photos or videos of God Forbid performing; any files involving them (parties, pictures with fans, etc.) are encouraged. Christopher Walken is to play Ozzy Osbourne in the movie based on Motley Crue's 2001 autobiography The Dirt. This, according to Crue frontman Vincen Neil. Osbourne toured with the band and appears in the book snorting a line of live ants and taking LSD every day for a year.
Val Kilmer is also lined up to play David Lee Rothin the film - but bandmembers Neil, Sixx, Mars and Lee will be played by unknown actors.
Ted Nugent's wife Shemane is breaking into U.S. television with a pilot for a new reality show with a hunting theme. "Queen of the Forest" involves experienced hunters giving city slickers a crash course in woodsman skills. Like her husband, Mrs. Nuge says she is an avid hunter who has done the African safari thing and credits a regular venison diet with keeping her trim. Her good health comes after a scare linked to toxic mold in their home near Jackson, Michigan. She told the newspaper the whole family was getting ill, and they eventually had to move out and raze the place. The pilot is scheduled to air Jan. 1 on The Outdoor Channel.
