EPICA's New Album, The Quantum Enigma, Gets North American Release Date Moved Up By Larry Petro, News Monkey Tuesday, March 18, 2014 @ 9:21 AM
"Since people seem to be pretty excited for the release of The Quantum Enigma, we felt pretty sorry for the North Americans so we decided to push its release forward! The release date of The Quantum Enigma has been moved from May 13th to the May 6th!"
The first single from The Quantum Enigma, entitled "The Essence Of Silence", is now available via iTunes and Amazon.
A release show has been announced for April 30th in Tilburg, The Netherlands at Poppodium. Special guests for the show will be INSOMNIUM.

The upcoming sixth studio album, The Quantum Enigma, marks the beginning of a new EPICA: modern, heavy, and without compromises.
"More than any of our previous albums, this album is a group effort. The only goal we had in mind: creating the album that could lift EPICA up to the next level."
Together with upcoming producer Joost van den Broek, the sextet worked on The Quantum Enigma at the Sandlane Recording Facilities in the Netherlands. The album has been mixed by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, HATESHPERE). "Every detail finds its way into a perfectly balanced mix, and makes EPICA sound raw and overwhelming.”
