One of the top bands to emerge out of the 80's, Tesla has released their latest studio album, Forever More via Tesla Electric Company Recordings (in partnership with Ryko Distribution). Forever More finds the band re-united with producer Terry Thomas, who rekindles the flame of the signature down to earth song-writing style that launched the band onto the charts during their heyday.

Tesla has always been a band with a no glitter rock and roll down to earth attitude that you could never stereo-type and in essence that factor helped them survive the test of time, as many of their peers from the 80's faded into oblivion.

With the release of Forever More, and a career that spans over 25 years in the music industry, Tesla reflect on the past only to look into the future and live life like there is no tomorrow with an album capturing the signature hard rocking sound of Tesla that launched the band onto the charts back in their heyday. Forever More showcases the strength of Tesla and is diverse, riveting, and as up close and personal and real, as the Sacramento rockers. Singer Jeff Keith is outstanding, as he takes you on a roller coaster ride of deep emotions and guitarist Frank Hannon unleashes diverse guitar riffs ranging from bluesy to rock and also includes beautiful acoustic melodies wrapped around Jeff Keith's riveting and bluesy vocal style. From the opening track, Forever More, Tesla realize that you don't get a second chance, and you have to take life by the horns. The first single, ”I Wanna Live” finds Tesla embracing life in full throttle with its upbeat message and Spartan guitar riffs.

One of the most enticing aspects of Forever More is the fact that Tesla experiment with different styles of music. On the song, So What, the band infuses the sassy vocal style of Jeff Keith and funky guitar tempo changes of Frank Hannon. It has been five years since the release of Tesla’s previous studio album, Into The Now in 2004.

Singer Jeff Keith shines on the religious, self-reflective ballad, ”Just In Case”. What would a Tesla record be without a good love gone wrong ballad? ”Fallin’ Apart” picks up where ”Love Song” left off. As Jeff tears open his heart only to find peace of mind. Guitarist Frank Hannon also shines on this song, as he carefully orchestrates his acoustic riffs to fit around Jeff's emotional vocal style. The next two songs thrive in the same love gone wrong vein, “Breakin’ Free”, and “All Of Me” which features a very revved up Tesla.

Guitarist Frank Hannon illustrates his skilled dynamics throughout the entire album. Frank mixes rock, blues, punk, and acoustic making Forever More a well-balanced release captivating the early catchy signature roots of the band. The rhythm section of bassist Brian Wheat and drummer Troy Luccketta cuts like a razor ever so sharp and pulverizing. This is also guitarist Dave Rude's, who replaced Tommy Skeoch, first album with the band. I have to add, the vast array of in your face guitar riffs and also nice blending of melodic acoustic chords make Forever More a classic Tesla gem. “Breakin Free” and “All Of Me” deliver a feverish power packed onslaught of blistering guitar riffs and in your face vocals that leap at you from the get-go.

So much has changed in the world since the 80's. The state of the world and war is paid homage on also one of the most touching songs on 'Forever More' with the song entitled, “Pvt. Ledbetter”, as it embraces the pain of a soldiers quest to return home.

Forever More ends on an upbeat note with the song “The Game” and the struggle of everyday life, rising gas prices and the struggle to make ends meet. Forever More finds Tesla living life to the fullest with a no boundaries attitude that is simply exhilarating. Tesla re-captures the energy and magic that surrounded the band in their heyday, brutally honest and real. Tesla wouldn’t have it any other way, as the band that once ruled the MTV charts in their prime embrace life at full speed ahead, never slowing down any time soon.
