Rock Never Stops -- It Keeps O

SKID ROW

Band went right on at 7pm as advertised. Lot's of people were already at the venue when the band went on. Opening with “I Remember You 2002” a very identifiable huge hit, was by standard an odd choice as an opening cut… (I think “Makin' A Mess” or “Slave to the Grind” would have been better). Overall a good set. “Thick is the Skin” is a great song!! If the new material matches this then I think a new CD from these guys in order!!! I had not seen this line-up with Phil Varone... he's a great addition. Also Johnny Solinger is a more than adequate replacement for Sebastian Bach... his style is different but I think it works with this line-up. Other songs included “Mudkicker,” “18 and Life,” “Monkey Business,” “Piece of Me,” “Pyscho Therapy,” and the traditional version of “I Remember You.” “Youth Gone Wild” went over huge... the crowd was jumping up and down. The band did a ‘meet and greet’ after their set… great bunch of guys.

JACKYL

I love these guys... they have not played in the northeast that much over the past few years, so I have not been able to see them as often as I would have liked. Jesse had the chainsaw humming and ready to go. They played hits “When Will It Rain,” “Down on Me,” “I Stand Alone,” and of course, closed with the “Lumberjack” song... always a fan favorite. He also cut a chair in half, and then proceeded to light it on fire... the Worley brothers, Jeff and Chris, are a tight rhythm section... the crowd really dug ‘em. They also did a ‘meet and greet’ at the merchandise section after their set. Very nice guys...

VINCE NEIL

The set was very disappointing from several different aspects. Sound was not good at all and the other 2 bands sounded fine, Vince appeared to be very sloppy, and the set was very short. Band featuring Jamie Hunting and Brent Fitz from Union, and guitarist Brent Woods, were above average and the song selection was great... all Motley tunes... but during “Girls, Girls, Girls,” Vince had about 15 local dancers (strippers) on stage, which was cool, until it appeared Vince either tripped or fell or twisted his ankle bumping into one of them... because he left the stage about 3/4 of the way through the song limping, and then came back to the stage and blamed the dancers for his performance!! Then said he was going to play “Same Old Situation,” but then again blasted the dancers! The old numbers sounded great up until that point: “Red Hot,” “Piece Of Your Action,” “Knock ‘Em Dead,” “Live Wire,” “Dr. Feelgood,” “Home Sweet Home.” Few people care what you do off stage... when your on stage give the people your 100% effort... you’re not and it's starting to show... you’re not twenty years old anymore ...my suggestion would be don't party like you still are...

TESLA

Awesome band. Awesome set. 100% effort to the fans... great show! Jeff and the boys sounded as tight as ever. Post ‘meet and greet’ was very cool.... and I got to rub in Jeff's face that his punk Raiders lost to my world champion New England Patriots!!! He was very cool about it!
