Kittie will release "Safe", a seven-song EP featuring live tracks and remixes of the title song by KMFDM's Sascha Konietzko, on November 19.

The original version of "Safe" appears on Kittie's sophomore album "Oracle," released October 30, 2001.

"I am totally into doing this remix for Kittie," said Konietzko. "My own project, KMFDM, has a long-standing history of combining hard music and female vocals, therefore this stuff is right up my alley...and the kids just love it!"

Added Kittie guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander: "We are excited and honored to be working with someone who is so well known and respected in the music community for his remixing talents and signature sound. "Safe " displays the diversity of Kittie. It reveals a rare and contemplative side of the band while, the live tracks and video footage batter you both sonically and visually."

The five live tracks were recorded at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif., on August 12, 2002. "This show was our first on the West Coast with our new lineup," said Lander. "The fans were just great and their energy so high, we had no choice but to kick ass for them in appreciation."

The EP also includes bonus live footage of "Wolves", "Mouthful of Poison," and "Charlotte" filmed on August 13, 2002 at the Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood.

"The live video footage shows how much the band has evolved and gives people an in-your-face expression of our new and dynamic incarnation," Lander said. "It is our way of giving something back and making it the best release possible."

The complete track listing is as follows:

"Safe" (Remixed by Sascha Konietzko and Bill Rieflin of KMFDM Inc.)
"Safe" (Radio Edit by KMFDM Inc.)
"No Name"
"What I Always Wanted"
"In Winter"
Bonus live footage: "Wolves", "Mouthful of Poison," and "Charlotte"
