Well, I'd have to give a thumbs up to Todd, too. I actually just stumbled on this site and never considered this possibility in the past, but he'd be a ringer for the job of Guns N Roses new leading man. I wonder if he knows that he's been discussed by fans for this project? I'll see him tomorrow at the studio and ask him his opinion - I'll post his comments if he's o.k. with it.

Who the hell is Todd Kerns???

D_Purpledude - 4/6/2003 6:07:25 AM
Spike , who was/is the lead singer of the British band Quireboys should be the obvious choice for this band.....Ring him up Slash ! What are you waiting for ?

I have to say, I'm a Rod Jackson fan. On "Ain't Life Grand" he did an amazing job. Josh Todd, of Buckcherry, is another primo choice. They've got the vocal capability, moreso than most, and the stage presence to match.

Todd kerns is great :). He has an awesome voice, does wonderful shows, and treats his fans with the respect they deserve. TODD KERNS ALL THE WAY

Suzylicious - 1/27/2003 9:24:02 PM
TODD KERNS will definitely get the job done! He's got the voice, the guitarmanship, the look, hell, He's got EVERYTHING! He's got the most important thing: the RAWK!!

emusic - 1/26/2003 4:21:57 AM
Todd Kerns is definitely the pick! There isn't anyone else better to do the job.

rawk_o_licious - 1/25/2003 11:45:39 PM
If you check out Todd Kerns' site and go on the board you'll have some interesting reads. It seems that Todd has some pretty loyal and intense (I mean that in a good way) fans... it also looks like Todd posts too and answers people's questions and such. That's so cool, the man just got even better in my books. A lead singer that appreciates his fans... what a rare and wonderful thing. Todd deserves this part in The Project. So there we go, rant #2 for me!!!

I am an experienced professional guitarist and have listened to all three top contenders....Kelly Shaefer, Travis Meeks, and Todd Kerns. Here's my analysis: Kerns: Good singer and writer, but sounds like the guy from Better Than Ezra and is not brutal enough to hang with this band. Meeks: Killer singer and writer, but not brutal enough to hang with this band. Kelly Shaefer is perfect for this band. He has the brutal metal edge, the killer lyrics and vocal melodies and a killer, unique, distinctive voice that would fit the spirit of this bands music better than anyone I have heard! Todd Kerns no doubt...but I gotta give some love for Baz too.

Steve050 - 1/25/2003 9:10:51 AM
I have to go with everyone else and vote for that Todd guy. He has the voice and the look that could handle that gig.

CatHavingFun - 1/25/2003 6:05:39 AM
Todd Kerns gets my vote too. He's the best vocalist out of the guys that have said they've auditioned.
