Peter Criss: The Wizard Of Oz

Peter Criss Guests On HBO’s

Founding Kiss drummer Peter Criss starts a short stay in prison this weekend, but it's a trip he chose to make. Criss is flexing his acting muscles by playing prisoner Martin Montgomery in the HBO prison drama Oz, which kicks off its fifth season on Sunday, January 6th at 10pm ET. He's scheduled to be in two more episodes this season, but HBO would not confirm whether or not there would be any more Criss appearances on the series after that. It's not the first time Criss has gone before the cameras: He had a walk-through in an episode of the canceled series Millennium, and he played himself in 1999's Detroit Rock City and 1978's KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park. Of course, he'll have less makeup on this time.

Do you think KISS will make a comeback in the future?

parasite74 - 1/14/2002 5:07:18 AM
Peter Criss' drumming on KISS ALIVE is better than ANYTHING that LOSER Eric Singer has EVER done. Eric Singer will always be remembered(for the few who remember this putz) as the guy who dressed up as Peter Criss to get his job back....what a scab loser.

dvlgrl - 1/13/2002 2:34:03 PM
um...rainbow..no really, i CAN spell...hahaha

dvlgrl - 1/13/2002 2:33:41 PM
so i was at the reainbow wednesday night, and who was holding court at the front table? none other than chuck zito...nothing like a little hells angels presence to put your animal instincts at attention...

NAVAJOGROWN - 1/12/2002 8:43:19 AM
The message by BarryManilow suggests his phallic has come up short.

firebird116 - 1/10/2002 3:10:16 PM
I thaught he was great! He's come a long way since KI$$ meets the Phantom! LOL

shurkahn9 - 1/10/2002 7:13:27 AM
Peter was great on OZ I hope they keep him around for more than what they have planned

shurkahn9 - 1/10/2002 7:12:19 AM
Everybody keeps saying Peter is better than both Erics Well guess what when each of those drummers were in Kiss they all shined in there own style. Also Eric Singer is one hell of a Drummer. If he was not good why does everybody want him to play drums for them.He plays for Alice Cooper. I met him in 89 in Japan when he was with badlands and his style then was perfect for that band when is Kiss perfect for that band. Plus one other thing is Singer does not have the I am a Star so Fuck you Attitude

sirkus17 - 1/8/2002 10:59:35 AM
You go, Peter.

One_Nathan - 1/8/2002 10:13:44 AM
Man, there are a lot of negative assholes who post msgs. on this site! I say it's good to see Peter Criss doing something outside of KISS non-music related & I look forward to seeing more of his character in Oz!

slip_kid - 1/8/2002 8:41:13 AM
wonder if his character gets butt raped by Garabisi? Oz it's not just a prison show, it's a love story...

Starwood - 1/8/2002 8:38:58 AM
He's a better actor than drummer - and he can't act for shit.

LEATHERFACELESS - 1/8/2002 1:41:14 AM
BIGHARDTREE SUCKS CAMEL BALLS IN AFGHANISTAN.

bighardtree - 1/8/2002 12:36:37 AM
I think Parasite is Peter Criss himself. (which wouldn't make sense since Eric Singer (and Bruce) was the one who suggested having Peter come in for a reunion initially anyway.) STILL - Parasite is Peter - has to be!

parasite74 - 1/7/2002 9:04:45 PM
On KISSonline your e-mail address is linked to your user name. It aint me but if they hate Eric Singer then they are OK in my book!!!
