Ozzy Rallies The Troops & Cuts Live Album

Ozzy Osbourne is scheduled to record a live album during his upcoming performance at the Budokan in Tokyo, Japan on February 15th. The effort is expected to be released this summer through Epic.

However, prior to the Japanese trek, Ozzy will head out on his first USO tour. For security reasons, Ozzy’s destination, like that of all USO stars, is being kept under wraps, but USO tour producer Bernie Rone confirmed to Rolling Stones that Ozzy is on board to rally the troops. "We're dealing with kids who know who Ozzy Osbourne is," Rone said. "We have to look at what's happening right now and get the troops what they want." Betcha Zakk will play the "Star Spangled Banner" at those gigs for sure!!!
