Here's the new Dimmu Borgir Vi

Norway’s DIMMU BORGIR have managed to become the most prominent and important Melodic Black Metal act around the globe. With their new studio album “Death Cult Armageddon” DIMMU BORGIR reach an even higher level, climbing up the next step close to Baphomet’s Throne. “Death Cult Armageddon” was recorded and produced by Frederik Nordström at the Swedish Fredman Studios (In Flames, HammerFall etc.). DIMMU BORGIR always stood for the orchestral side of Black Metal; classical arrangements have ever been a certain aspect in their unique sound. To give the songs an even more authentic feeling, the band recorded parts of the album along with the Philharmonic Orchestra Prague, which consisted of 46 professional musicians. This is feeling of majesty and power that makes the Norwegians special. “Death Cult Armageddon” is their most varied and therefore also most extreme album.

Ya we thought we'd be different so we plucked our eyebrows and stuff. Our singer is great too, he sounds just like a cross between Pantera's singer and that guy from Khrxdak. They're sweedish so they're really super heavy and dark.

BlackWizard666 - 1/20/2004 12:32:36 PM
Finally someone who appreciates good Black Metal/Rap/Punk/Satan-core music. We definetly need to tour together Necrovile. Yeah my band wanted to pluck our eyebrows, but it hurts like a sonofagun! Dreads huh? Thats neat. Neater than some idiot from some fucked up foreign country that gets mad and writes in his own language no one understands. What exactly does "Shove you stupid rap shit" mean anyway?

Necrovile - 1/20/2004 12:22:46 PM
BlackWizard666 my band Stinking Dead Body would love to do a show with yours. We also wear corpse paint but were more originaler because we pluck our eyebrows and all have dreads. Our guitarist is the next Chet Atkins, if he played more like that guy from Testament. Plus we also wear women's panties on our heads while we play. HAIL SATAN!

DOGSBOLLOCKS - 1/20/2004 7:03:30 AM

Metal is about skinny dudes with longhair not fat skinheads. <--TRUE metal is not about image at all. It does not belong only to the skinny kid with long hair, nor does it belong only to the fat skinhead. It belongs to everyone who in their heart feels it's the place where *they* belong. Metal is the music of the true outcast. The one who even in a room full of people is still alone. Metal is the empowerment of the powerless. Metal is for everyone who feels it in their soul regardless of how they look. Metal is strength in numbers. Metal is the sound that scares people. Metal is bigger than any one image. Metal is shredding guitars. Metal is screamin vocals. Metal is pounding drums. Metal is a bassline that could kill small dogs. Metal is the ultimate state of mind. Metal saved my life when I was a teen. I will forever be metal in my soul regardless of what happens to my physical body.

Speaking as a genuinie hard rock artist unlike the rest of you 13 year old goth/vampire dweebs. Dimmu Borgir as far as the instrument playing is top notch. The guitar player in this band plays almost as well Steve Vai and much better than Satriani. The lead singer is pleasing to look at as a front man, but I dont like at all any growling more than James Hetfield. The bass player sings tremendously well. The drummer plays better than average but metal is about skinny dudes with long hair not fat skin heads. Overall the keyboardist and the guitar player are the real talents in the band equipped with a real understanding of classical music. Let this be known to all the vampire/hardcore/punk generation kids. Really good Heavy Metal music consists of 1 element. Intricate classical music played buy distorted electric guitars backed up by a rock band. Thats all you need. You dont need to wear halloween makeup or grow fake tits (Marilyn Manson) to be popular. Unfortunately 2003 is the year of the BIG DUMB CASH MONEY NIGGAS....UGH!!! Rap and hip hop is the one reason I went from a unracest person to a racest person. Speaking as a 26 year old, Gangsta Rap, Hip hop, and Punk rock promote unbridled ignornace in generation Y.

Besides merchandise, a download section, the latest band news, a forum and a guestbook you'll find more universal band information and new pictures from every GORGOROTH member (taken by the approved Peter Beste!). This page will be updated regularly and it's definitely worth to behold! Check that hellish site at www.gorgoroth.org The guys are also preparing a live DVD which will be released next year. It'll be recorded in Poland / Krakow and you can look forward to an amazing live show, unique bonus material and interviews. "We have a big thing going on in Poland this month - DVD production, with lots of pyro, gallons of blood, live crucifixion, nude models used and abused in the name of Satan" says Infernus. More news regarding that matter can be found on the guys new homepage soon!
