Helsinki hellraisers SANTA CRUZ – whose brash, Sunset Strip-inspired hard rock was recently praised by Rolling Stone as “debaucherous and flamboyant” – have released a music video for their anthemic new song “Young Blood Rising”. The track appears on the group's forthcoming M-Theory Audio debut, Bad Blood Rising, which will be available digitally on Oct. 6 and physically on CD and LP on Nov. 10. Check it out on KNAC.COM HERE.

Says guitarist Johnny Cruz, “It's a live video that shows lots of headbanging, shredding and attitude, so you definitely get the point of what it looks like when you come to our live show.”

“Young Blood Rising” is the second single issued in advance of the release of Bad Blood Rising, following the infectious initial preview track “River Phoenix”. According to Johnny, the album is – to quote one of its other song titles – pure f**king adrenaline, but it also adds a few new colors to the group's musical palette.

“This album has probably both the heaviest and the softest SANTA CRUZ moments on it,” he says. “We didn't intentionally try to come up with something totally different than before, but I guess some of the new influences we've picked up along the way can be heard on these songs. At the end of the day, the apple didn't fall all that far from the tree. People can still expect the SANTA CRUZ sound – the fast guitars and heavy drums are still there, just served with a different sauce. All in all, we see Bad Blood Rising as a 'comeback album' – a start of a new era. It's like what Archie is singing in "River Phoenix""We're going down like River Phoenix, to rise up from the ashes once again."

Bad Blood Rising is available now for pre-order on CD and LP at www.m-theoryaudio.com/store. Digital pre-orders via iTunes, Amazon, Bandcamp and Google Play include instant downloads of both “River Phoenix” and “Young Blood Rising” which can also be heard on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

SANTA CRUZ is a Finnish modern hard rock band formed with the mutual aspiration of playing their rear ends off and kicking people’s derrieres. Inspired initially by the likes of MOTLEY CRUE and GUNS N’ ROSES, the young group developed a strong buzz through stupefying live shows and two well-received albums on Spinefarm Records, where they took their throwback hard rock sound and combined it with elements of modern rock, punk and metal, put it in their own special blender, then iced the mix with blinding energetic performances and a healthy dash of bad attitude. M-Theory Audio recently announced the group's signing in a continued effort to present the best, promising new bands from every niche of the metal/hard rock world.

The band – who has previously toured America alongside the likes of AMARANTHE, I PREVAIL and SEBASTIAN BACH, in addition to playing the Rock On The Range festival in 2015 – has an extensive European tour set over the final months of 2017, with plans to return to the States in the new year.
