Guitarist Slider Parts With Brand New Sin; New Album This Summer By Sefany Jones, Contributing Editor Friday, March 5, 2004 @ 1:17 PM
However, a bit of bad news also comes… guitarist Slider has parted way with the band. Here is a message from vocalist Joe Altier:
“Well, a day has come that I thought we would never see. Brand New Sin and Slider have mutually parted ways. A bandmate, a friend, a brother is gone. The reasons are personal. We love him with all of our hearts and wish him the best of luck no matter what he does. We would never say anything bad about him or what has happened. I know this comes as a surprise to everyone, but believe me this is a turning point for the better. I know some of you will not understand this but it is something that only the BNS family will understand. I also understand that some of you will bash us, trash us or what not but to those people, I am sorry but you do not know the whole story.
“We will steamroll forward as a five piece: Myself, Kris, Kenny, Kevin and Chuck. We are really excited about the new songs and can’t wait to share them with you all. Before too long new BNS album will be in your faces!! Again this is a sad day personally for us but a turning point for the better. Take care all. We love you.”
