BACKYARD BABIES Unveil "44 Undead" Video

One of Scandinavian hard rock's most influential and beloved acts, Sweden's BACKYARD BABIES – aptly described by Classic Rock as “a tattoo-heavy cross between GREEN DAY and GENERATION X” – will deliver Sliver & Gold, their eighth full-length blast of Nordic noir, in North America on March 29.
In advance of Friday's kickoff of a two-month European tour, the band has unveiled a music video for a third preview track from the new album, “44 Undead”,which you can check out on KNAC.COM HERE. Shot on the streets of Manchester, Sheffield, London, Bristol and Stockholm by drummer Peder Carlsson, the video portrays an anthemic yet somewhat melancholic track that showcases a more introverted side of BACKYARD BABIES as compared to the two party-rock jams from the album (“Shovin' Rocks” and “Good Morning Midnight”) that were previously released.
Described by singer/guitarist Nicke Borg as BACKYARD BABIES' “most intense and furious album to date,” Sliver & Gold – which was produced by the legendary Chips Kiesbye (THE HELLACOPTERS, GRAVEYARD, MICHAEL MOONROE) – follows the exact same recipe that made the group one of the most consistent rock bands of our time: a perfect balance between sleazy punk rock on one hand, and decidedly mature, thoroughly melancholic tunes on the other.
