REVIVAL BLACK Announce Debut Album Step In Line By Larry Petro, News Monkey Wednesday, August 14, 2019 @ 11:40 AM
The 10-song album will also be available worldwide via all streaming and download platforms, with physicals CDs distributed by Cargo Records.

Step In Line was recorded at Liverpool's famous The Motor Museum Recording Studio, with Loic Gaillard behind the production desk. While the striking, dystopian cover art was created by Andy Pilkington at Very Metal Art.

As the title suggests, there is a loosely-tied theme across the album relating to the idea of being institutionalised and quite literally being told to 'step in line'. Several of the songs display ideas of freedom or to quote the album’s second track ‘So Alive’, to break free from the chains that tie you down.
In keeping with that organic, authentic sound we used a large array of analogue effects, notably with the guitar solos we used a real analogue spring reverb to give a real depth to the sound. I then laid down the bulk of the lead vocal in one or two days as once my voice is warm and as rich as possible, I don't want to stop."
With their own brand of honest rock n roll, drawing upon the classic sound of the 70’s with a strong foothold in the modern day, REVIVAL BLACK have firmly planted themselves within `The New Wave of Classic Rock`.
They recently closed the HRH Road Trip festival in Ibiza. Opened up the inaugural Call Of The Wild Festival. Were Top 3 finalists in the Virgin Music ‘Manchester to LA’ competition and now TNT Wrestling have adopted "Hold Me Down" as their official event anthem.
