Strapping Young Lad Embark On Headlining U.S. Tour;
New Video Makes Its MTV2 Debut

The Canadian extremists Strapping Young Lad will embark on a massive U.S. headlining tour this week with The Agony Scene, Misery Signals and Reflux in the support slots. The trek kicks off on April 2nd and will make a stop at the legendary New England Metal and Hardcore Fest on April 23rd. This tour also marks the first time the group have ever played any of their new material live, and expect nothing less than a balls-out, highly energetic set.

Once an underground phenomenon, Strapping Young Lad are now on the verge of a major genre-defying breakthrough with Alien, their highly anticipated fourth studio album. The group’s new video for the track “Love?” shot by acclaimed director Joe Lynch (Devildriver, Kataklysm) will make its MTV2 debut on Headbangers Ball this Saturday, April 2nd. Their critically acclaimed new offering is now available and it is quickly going to redefine the meaning of extreme.

OK - I'll admit I don't know shit about this band. And from the comments here they are good. Fine. I will still submit that their name - Strapping Young Lad - is as gay a name for a band as I have ever heard.

Strapping Young Lad kicks serious ass...Gene Hoglan should be considered for the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame!!

spaschild - 4/4/2005 8:53:19 PM
My penis, when fully erect, measure about 7 inches in length...average, I guess. However, what I lack in length, I more than compensate for in girth. My dick has the circumference of a beer can. In fact, my boners look like a regular size can of beer (but skin-toned, with no logos). It's much better to have a cock the size of a deli-sized salami chum than some long needle dick.

Fucking great band...SYL is tits.

Say a prayer for The Pope.........

Lame enough for you to be obsessed enough to follow it on almost every board, btw you missed a couple and someone did like if on the joke board. Not sure why your so freaky about it but it made me laugh and to each his own.

BJT - 4/1/2005 3:05:05 PM
Sorry, it's still LAME.

hellinabucket - 4/1/2005 2:32:19 PM
For being so stupid, it sure peaked your interest enough to try it. Sounds like your just disappointed it wasn't real.

BJT - 4/1/2005 1:07:16 PM
Hellinabucket: That's so stupid. The dumbest April Fool's joke I've experienced all day. EVERYBODY, pay no attention to Hellinabucket's message, it's a complete waste of time and it's not even funny. Creativity is not your strong point. Sorry.

I know this is not what this board is about but you all need to know about this TODAY, This is some fucked up shit: "He who would trade liberty for security deserves neither!" -- Benjamin Franklin Recently I started a job with a company that makes equipment that is used for monitoring communications - namely telephone conversations. There are legitimate uses for this technology; banks, utility companies, and customer service organizations use it to make sure their customers are getting quality service out of their telephone agents. It came to my attention after working there for awhile, however, that this was not the only use of the technology... It seems that certian governmental entities have also been implementing our product - into the very telephone network that you and I use every day. That's right - the US government is recording each and every one of your telephone calls right now. I confided this in the girl I am dating - who I will admit is more of a worldly thinker than I am at times. Initially, she did not believe that this was occuring - so I offered her proof by playing for her one of the phone calls that we made. She was astonished, and completely beside herself at this blatant breach of privacy and ethical behavior. She has convinced me how absolutely wrong this situation is, and how this unconstitutional disregard for the Bill of Rights will erode our freedom and privacy and freedom if allowed to continue unchecked. My biggest hurdle in being able to change this is gathering enough people behind the cause - and that's because they don't seem to believe that this is happening. As an offer of proof, I have copied 1 terrabyte of audio files that have been recorded from a national telephone switching point in Dallas, TX. Enter your 10-digit phone number in the box below, along with the 10-digit phone number of someone you have called recently - if a recording is included in the data that I have copied, you can listen to the proof yourself! http://www.kylewenda.com/workstuff/
