A strange message has appeared at Type O Negative's official website, TypeONegative.net. It has no links, just one page that states:
PETER STEELE
FREE AT LAST
1962-2005
No other information has been disclosed at this time.
Being it was posted on Friday the 13th, and the header on the website page says "Love You 2 Death," one must speculate whether or not this is some sort of publicity stunt.
However, without any other information, we will just leave this as an unconfirmed report, and post any information relevant to this immediately...

Blabbermouth.net is reporting that Peter Steele is in fact alive and well. Ok, well alive anyways. No reason was given for the image of a grave marker bearing the death of Peter Steele on Type O's website.
