Current Ratt frontman Jizzy Pearl will head over to the UK to perform a series of dates under the name of his old band Love/Hate. Pearl stresses, however, that these shows will not be a reunion of the Los Angeles hard rock outfit. “This isn't a re-forming of Love/Hate or a reunion of Love/Hate, because, as I've said many, many times before, the other three guys DO NOT TOUR ANYMORE,” states Peal. “This is a celebration of the Love/Hate music and legacy that I was a part of for 13 years. I'm very excited as I've not been back to the U.K. for SIX F.CKING YEARS (in fact that last tour was the last time all four original guys played together...how sad).”
Before heading off to Europe though, the band will play some west coast dates to warm up. The new line-up of Love/Hate will consists of Pearl, bassist Robbie Crane (Ratt), guitarist Keri Kelli (ex-Slash's Snakepit), and drummer Dave Moreno. Pearl commented to KNAC.COM, "I want to see all those Love/Hate fans that have been dying for a little "Fuel to Run." On all of the dates, Pearl will be selling his recent autobiography I Got More Crickets Than Freinds.
Pearl will be supporting fellow Angelino Gilby Clarke when he takes the show on the road to the UK to promote his latest effort, Swag. Swag is the latest album from the one-time Guns N’ Roses guitarist and features L.A. Guns guitarist Tracii Guns on many of the tracks.
