A homemade video was released Friday of the deadly nightclub shooting that left Dimebag Darrell and four others dead, including the shooter.
The camera was positioned at the back right portion of the stage looking into the audience as Nathan Gale began shooting during the Damageplan concert at Alrosa Villa on December 8, 2004.
The band had set up the camera before the show. The camera captured most of the five-minute shooting rampage. Gale shot and killed four people and injured three others before a Columbus police officer entered the building and killed him with one shotgun blast to the head.
Damageplan began playing just after 10 p.m. About a minute later, a security guard runs off stage and within seconds, Gale can be seen on stage with a gun. He is pursued by the security guard, and the first shot is fired. More shots soon follow, and two men are hit.

kataztrophe - 12/13/2006 2:28:05 PM Darrell was not the only one to die that night. My friend Jeff "Mayhem" was also killed by Gale, defending his Band friends and their concert fans. Jeff died so others would not.
Officer Niggemeyer did the right thing that night. I am glad to know the grand jury thought so as well.
Dimebag was famous, Jeff was not. To most, Jeff was "just" the bodyguard, but to us, he was a mountain of a man and is dearly missed by his Faire friends who knew the fun side of Jeff.
