A little more than 5 months after re-uniting, Stratovarius' long time bass player has left the band.
Timo Tolkki has posted the following message on the band's forum:
"Some of you have heard rumours that Jari Kainulainen has left Stratovarius. Unfortunately I have to tell you that they are true.
This is due to personal reasons. We will release official statement regarding that soon."
