reenyc - 9/8/2005 9:42:58 AM First of all,I don't work in a hospital I work for Hospice which is free in our state.I take care of dying people and their families and I don't steal from the wallets of my patients.I'm simply tired of hearing racists remarks, and republicans condeming these people and insulting them.LA was one of the first states to go help with 9/11 that's why N.Y.P.D and F.D.N.Y were one of the first to get there.You don't think they deserve our help?I guess you think we all should've been left to die on 9/11 and if you were happy about the quick response there It wasn't because of Bush it was because of the mayor who I love and by the way he's republican so I'm not basing my feelings totally on political parties.Jeb Bush is our governor and he does a damn good job responding to hurricanes here.His brother on the other hand is out of touch and an idiot,he has no concept of the effects of his policies. I too am pissed at the cost of health care,as I recently had surgery on a busted ankle. BTW,congrats on the twins.

2.Why were these people not prepared? They expect the government to take care of them and N.O. did not have a disaster plan nor never did.Tough luck.
3.These people knew their enviroment and CHOSE to live there like people in Kalifornia know they can be hit with huge earthquakes.
4. They live in a city built on a marsh below sea level that sinks 1 inch a year and have levies to hold back a lake. Smart Idea.
5. These idiots had a weeks notice to get the hell out and kept drinking and having a party till the end. Just plain stupid.
6. Like every hard working American, we pay federal taxes and have for year. There is your disaster money to pay for crackheads houses and all the wefare and poverty sticken people to buy them SUV's and houses they never owned THEREFORE I will never ever donate one damn dime these good for nothing low lifes that loot, rob,rape and shoot people of their own community.
I am prepared, I am ready and I will shoot to kill as I am trained with no remorse if I must defend my property, family or liberty. Only the strong survive, kill them all, let God sort them out.
