Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx reveals in his online diary that you can expect a new version of the band's classic song, "Home Sweet Home."
Here's his post:
Tomorrow (Saturday, September 10th) will be a long day, but a good day. We need to be at CMT studios in Nashville to cut 'Home Sweet Home' live with Chester from LINKIN PARK at 9 am. We're gonna have other players as well, piano, a second guitar, strings, choir etc. We're doing this for the hurricane relief fund. Then we go to a recording studio with everybody in tow and cut it proper for a single to be released to raise more money to help the people of New Orleans, then we have a concert that night... Tonight was our 100th show so far... Got to go to Nashville now...

I see it like this ....What's "Metal" & what isn't "Metal" is all opinion, conjecture and a desire to label things needlessly and in the end it really doesn't matter. You either like it or you don't. There are far too many jackasses running around in the world trying to prop themselves up on the premise of self classification and glorification i.e., "I'm Metal" and "Your not".....When your sitting on the couch watching TV or scratching your ass does all that posturing really matter? Of course we all do this on some level, but it doesn't make it any less ridiculous.
