DIO's management company, Niji Management, reports that guitarist Craig Goldy hurt his arm while touring Russia and has been trying to continue to play the shows on painkillers, but it has now become impossible for him to continue. Therefore, former DIO axeman Doug Aldrich (pictured below) will be stepping in for him from the Eindhoven show on Oct. 6th and will play the rest of the tour, including the UK.
In response to rumours that the switch was prompted by Goldy's alleged drinking problems, Wendy Dio states emphatically that,"Craig has NOT been drinking, and has been a real trooper, trying to perform in pain with his arm. We are very pleased that Doug is able to perform with Dio and that we do not have to cancel any shows."

knaclistener - 10/7/2005 10:01:20 PM Ironically, the Ultimate Sin is OZZY's least favorite album. I think because it reminds him of too many people who worked on it whom he did not like. The record company pushed it. The video Ultimate Ozzy looks like he's having fun with the material live, at least they do it well. Jake E. Lee and Randy Castillo are brilliant on that. Jake E. Lee's latest album of rock classics is also brilliant. Ironically, I think the Ultimate Sin has some of OZZY's best music.
