As many of you may already know; owner and CEO Brian Slagel is an extreme enthusiast of hockey and has appeared many times as a guest on Canada’s TSN Off The Record (Canada's version of ESPN) expressing his opinions on the sport and much more as well as supporting Central Hockey League teams like the Wichita Thunder, Ft Worth Brahmas,the Lake Charles Ice Pirates. And now he will be showing his support of the game by sponsoring the CHL’s Power Players on their web site as well as sponsoring their weekly radio show, On Edge with the CHL, which will not only feature Metal Blade ads but will also have Brian Slagel on as a guest. Metal Blade will also be sponsoring the Ft Worth Brahmas’ "shooter" warm up jerseys and during the warm ups they will be playing MB videos on their scoreboard. The Wichita Thunder will also be included as Metal Blade will be sponsoring the Player of the Week section on their web site and their radio programs.

Hockey and Heavy Metal/Rock N Roll belong together. Hell, its the only sport that plays metal when you go to the game. Unlike baseball or basketball which slams that rap crap down are throats! I am glad those yahoos got forced into a dress code in basketball.
