Alice in Chains guitarist, Jerry Cantrell is recovering from surgery to remove bone spurs in his shoulder.
He was admitted to Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles where Dr. Stephen J. Lombardo, a noted sports medicine practitioner, attended to the surgery. The clinic is well-known to Los Angeles-area professional sports teams. Dr. Lombardo is the team physician for the L.A. Lakers and (WNBA) L.A. Sparks and is orthopaedic consultant to both the L.A. Dodgers and Angels as well as the L.A. Kings.
The early prognosis is Cantrell should be able to resume his full range of activity in a few months.
kellygrowl - 12/30/2005 11:55:48 AM Alice in Chains Layne, Jerry, Mike and Sean had a perfect combination going. Horribly sad about LS, even these many years later. Unless you've lost someone that way, you aught not judge. They had the world by the balls and if the remaining members ever choose to come to my area of the states, you will find me front and center~!~
Blobber - 12/18/2005 4:47:24 PM Agravy...you jokester, you! I am simply choosing to accentuate the psotive and court favor with Jesus. God bless Layne and you too!

Blobber - 12/17/2005 7:28:21 PM Alice in Chains was really good. It's sad that their singer died a neddless drug-related death. I should not make fun of said death or of the cats-related shit either. I think Cantrell's a great guitarist and singer.
analgravy2 - 12/17/2005 2:47:32 AM Nice job fucking up that bass tryout on Some Kind Of Faggot.
dasani - 12/17/2005 12:13:11 AM god speed jerry

Cantrell rocks, but think Kim Thayil was a little better.<-------now i am positive you are completely brain dead. but who cares?
_XXXXXXXXXX_ - 12/16/2005 7:19:17 AM By the time authorities had found Layne, he was partially decomposed into the carpeting and his cats were eating him.
_XXXXXXXXXX_ - 12/16/2005 7:16:38 AM Thayil has been spotted in several suburban Seattle taverns, sucking down Red Hook Blonde Ale and talking to himself.
Blobber - 12/15/2005 5:27:59 PM Thayil's been busy doing...ah..er..heroin. I gotta admit AIC was pretty good. Depressing, but good. I still want to know what the fuck a Star Dog Champion is/was...maybe it's a heroin thang?
