Savoy: If you haven't already you should check out Georges work on Paths of Possession

Mummy ! Something we finally agree on. Well said. Saw the corpses many times with Chris. Saw George with Monstrosity a time or two. And to think Cannibal's THE BLEEDING is now a classic.

rahan61: We could all debate until the end of time whether the cookie monster style is "singing" or not. However, The fact is that it takes quite a bit of ability along with stamina to do what a guy like George does on the mic....Take Rob Halford,Bruce Dickinson,Geoff Tate or any other range oriented singer you can think of and get them to do what George does and see what happens and vice versa. The point being its just a style thing and an ability thing. It more than just yelling, screaming and trying to blow out your vocal cords, which is what would happen if someone without training tried to pull it off. It fits the music and the lyrics.

this music gave a chance to any guy who couldnt sing to fulfill his dream and become a " singer??" or whatever . you could put a warhog in front the mic it would have the same effect.

dasani - 1/6/2006 11:20:09 PM

Mummyman - 1/6/2006 9:35:01 PM

We need this type of festival here in L.A. I'm tired of the bullshit Ozzfest line-ups.

COB and Nevermore make this gig good......Cannibal Corpse gives you a good reason to drink in the parkinglot for another 45 minutes. Those dudes are terrible!

Legion666 - 1/3/2006 5:40:22 PM
I seen CANNIBAL CORPSE with SADISTIC INTENT, that was killer!! SADISTIC INTENT should be playing at this festival, I know they have a cult following in Europe! CELTIC FROST will not be Glam but they won't go back to their old school Death Metal vibe either, I think they are going for a "modern" approach. I know it will not happen but it would be awesome if POSSESSED re-united!!!

Blobber - 1/3/2006 4:41:24 PM
