Touring and Recording to Conti

Press Release:

Although we all had high hopes and the best intentions for the success of our association, it became evident collective that the musical diversity of styles would not work to our mutual satisfaction. Rather than go into the recording studio unsure of the outcome, Quiet Riot and Tracii Guns have decided to amicably part company but remain friends and hold each other in the highest respect.

Quiet riot will still enter the studio in late January to record new songs for the next studio release, the first new material from the band since the release of "Guilty Pleasures" in 2001.

Look for Quiet Riot on tour upon completion of the new recordings.

I remember seeing the cover of a Quiet Riot import album from Japan. They looked like tight pants fags.

So the real story was that Tracii playfully grabbed Dubrow's gig during a show in front of an audience and Dubrow freaked? Big fucking deal.

ThunderDemon1 - 1/21/2006 11:26:35 AM

Hey ya Queers, Bands like Europe and Trixter and Nelson, whatever band Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt played in... everybody and their brother Unplugged, everybody elses brother with a symphony... killed metal! so now it's time to face the facts, Quiet Riot - "Slick Black Cadilac" was probably their best song, true that they were a one hit wonder (First album), So how come nobody is asking for them to return with the singer of Rough Cutt?

judasbishop - 1/19/2006 7:53:14 PM
someone in here said before that their only hit was a slade song...but I think that song sucked too. Talk about Warrant ruining metal...these guys were trying well before them.

veronus2 - 1/19/2006 11:29:26 AM
It sounds like money differences to me.

mt5 - 1/19/2006 9:38:57 AM

DaSentinal - 1/19/2006 8:48:05 AM
Kevin Dubrow was bald in 1979. Give me back my wig.

This split happened faster than the massive dump I just took. Gotta love the spin... "it became evident collective that the musical diversity of styles would not work to our mutual satisfaction." In other words, Tracii wanted to work with a singer who has talent and his own hair. QR's next appearance will be on American Idol: The Reject Show.
