Conflicts Sited By Promoter

ProgPower USA organizer Glenn Harveston has issued the following statement:

"The DISTURBED/NEVERMORE European tour was postponed until September this year. Obviously, that conflicts with the festival date. Nevermore have officially withdrawn from the festival in order to continue with that potentially lucrative tour as of this morning.

Obviously, I am beyond disappointed. I will now begin the search for a replacement. Please be patient as I have no idea how long the process will take.

Glenn H."

Worm:Yeah, Loomis was also in Santuary with Dane & Sheppard. Dave Mustaine played some shit for Sanctuary as well

Wormking - 2/20/2006 10:38:30 PM
Anyone ever hear of "Sanctuary" with Warrel Dane & Jim Sheppard?

Totems - 2/18/2006 11:58:26 AM
Also in 03 Chris Broadrick from jag Panzer played with Nevermore for some gigs.I was lucky enough to see there CD release party and when Nevermore opened for Type O in Seattle. Those 2 loomis and Broadrick really gave a clinic in the shows, amazing fretwork.

Totems - 2/18/2006 11:17:06 AM
Loomis and Obrien POE there best record imo.

Schiesskopf - 2/18/2006 11:02:53 AM
Agreed, Mummy...Loomis and Smythe are the best guitar team around, hands down...nobody even comes close. As far as Nevermore touring with Disturbed, what better way to make a name for themselves and show the masses how great this band is. this is a GREAT tour package, two of the best bands in the world...I only wish they's tour the States together.

Mummyman - 2/18/2006 7:46:19 AM
It does suck, but in the grand scheme of things Nevermore will get the exposure they deserve. They'll blow Disturbed right off the goddamn stage. Loomis & Smythe are devastating.

LoveBuzz - 2/17/2006 2:59:21 PM
boo--fucking--hoo

Totems - 2/17/2006 9:56:05 AM
Hey Judas, when you pay money to see a show you dont expect to see the singer in the alley before hand drinking out of a bag.To top it off he was puking in between songs. This was not the first time in 01 at the abrasieve rock fest they had to drag him out of a pub to perform.

rosa_whore - 2/17/2006 9:17:09 AM
wow, i have a feeling alot of people are gonna be pissed. they should have kept themselves on the Prog Power bill. would have been a classy move on nevermores part. but obviously things have changed. bummer.

puremetalll - 2/16/2006 10:40:07 PM
simple...exposure.

LastArkham - 2/16/2006 9:51:24 PM
Why would these guys tour with Disturbed...

knaclistener - 2/16/2006 9:23:38 PM
A gig is a gig.

puremetalll - 2/16/2006 9:05:45 PM
and Dep sucks ass- I'm getting sick of these mathcore bands with little brats having screaming tantrums on vocals. Get over it already and learn how to frigging sing.

puremetalll - 2/16/2006 9:03:47 PM
zero ticket sales? Excuse me, but they sell out every year. Tell ya what, why don't you go back to whining about talentless crap like Warrant and Brett Michaels, beeotch.

headbangersue - 2/16/2006 7:37:05 PM
Oh well, maybe they'll get someone 'else' from GIGANTOUR: DILLENGER ESCAPE PLAN (?) O;-)
