Responding to a press release recently issued by Axl Rose's attorney in which Axl made several accusations and characterizations of ex-Guns N' Roses members, Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland has apparently decided to get into the public brawl that extends from the court where Axl and Slash are fighting over the Guns N' Roses legacy, and it seems, has issued this open letter at www.velvet-revolver.com:
"Get in the rinGo to the gym motherfucker, or if you prefer, get a new wig motherfucker. I think I’ll resist the urge to “stoop” to your level.
Oh shit, here it comes, you fat, botox faced, wig wearin’ fuck! O.K. I feel better now. Don’t think for a second we don’t know where those words came from. Your unoriginal, uncreative little mind, the same mind that had to rely on its bandmates to write melodies and lyrics. Who’s the fraud now bitch?
Damn, I couldn’t imagine people writing for me. How many albums have you put out man and how long did it take the current configuration of this so-called “band” to make this album? How long? And without the only guys that validated the name. How dare you! Shame on you! How dare you call our bass player “spineless”.
We toured our album over a year and a half. How many shows have you played over the last ten years? Oh, that’s right - you bailed out on your long awaited comeback tour, leaving your remaining fans feeling shall we say a trifle miffed?! I won’t even list what I’ve accomplished because I don’t need to.
What we’re talking about here is a frightened little man who once thought he was king, but unfortunately this king without his court is nothing but a memory of the asshole he once was.

He just couldn't let go of the empire that Slash and Duff created for him so he filled what was once the most glorious band with wanna be's like Buckethead and Paul Tobias. VR has realeased 2 good abums in the course of 3 years and GnR can't even release Chinies Democracy for 15 years and I would bet my life 5 years from now it will still not have been realeased. Anyone who still likes the modern GnR as their favorite band is clinging despratly to the past. Sad news for most of the mental patients who wrote in. The guy who said "Stupid Scott Weiland should be worshiping him" is the most retarted of all. Sure Axl has a good voice but the fact that since all the other original members left shows he's good for little else. He's jealous that GnR has lost it's tarnished crown while VRs is being shined as we speak. That part about the botox;it probably true.

It's to bad Slash and Duff are wasting their talent on that band. And I really would enjoy kicking everyones ass that thinks Axl Rose isn't as amazing as he is. FUCK DUMB SHITS. I think it's amazing how Axl has gone through so much shit in his life and is able to make beautiful music still. And he was the one writing it..WoW really have to be a dumb ass to think he didn't write any of his music..it's kinda funny.

You said you liked the Guns n' Roses before when they were still the Guns n' Roses. I'm guessing you mean when Slash, Izzy, Duff, and Stradlin were still in it..you were only like a toddler how the fuck can you say that you liked them back then. dumb shit. And yea Axl Rose does say some things and do some things that some people may think are real assholey but you know he has problems.. Do you fucking know what he went through when he was a kid? Obviously not, i'd get pissy sometimes too. He is proballly manic depressive, that just makes him an even more amazing artist.

natally - 8/3/2007 3:15:21 PM hi again...well...i see the other emails are all against velvet revolver...but why... you guys agree with axl and his stuped attitude!? i think its a shame that he behaves like that because i really apreciate his job as a musician...and he is a grate singer...but...i desagree with his attitude and you have to see that velvet revolver are a very cool band...and i still listening to guns n roses...and i thing the new guys are pretty cool...but...they just don't have the right style...guns n roses...for me...is slash doing those super cool solos...duff on the bass playing like no one plays...matt on the drums tottaly rocking out...and axl doing the greatest job of ever...but it didn't work out...so...you may be a super fan of axl but i think you guys aren't blind enough to see than axl is acting like a litle kid...but...you know what...do whatever you whant and think what ever you whant...i still thinking the same...it isn't abou who rocks harder, and it isn't about who gets up on stage and says some cool words and get the peolpe touched... because i know how alx is like...he goes to a show and he says some coll stuff and then he gets aout and he does all the shit he did again...he did a lot of bad stuff...but...what bothers me is...thet he never learns...and he doesn't change his shit now...we will be in a hole... a deep and dark hole...because no one whants to be with a... how was that?...ah yeah...a "fat botox faced"...i'm very sad for saying this but that's exactelly what he became...i did like axl rose...i did like guns n roses...but things change...sometimes for better, sometimes for worst...and you may not do it now...but you will have to face what axl is becoming...soon or later...
