Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick will spend April in Korea touring with Jekyll & Hyde: The Concert.
The production is described as follows on Skolnick's official website:
"The smash-hit Broadway musical has been transformed into the concert event of the year! The music tells the story in Jekyll & Hyde - The Concert, with compelling songs that reveal the emotion, the passion and the horror of this gothic thriller. The powerful and romantic pop score is brought to life by the talents of three of the stages brightest stars and a pulse pounding orchestra and six piece band (with Alex on all guitars). The concert version of Jekyll & Hyde has been adapted by Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse and includes material from throughout the twenty-year development of the show."
Confirmed dates are as follows:
April 8-16 - Seoul, South Korea at Olympic Hall
April 18-19 - Pusan, South Korea at KBS Hall

Blobber - 4/5/2006 4:12:28 PM Heil Satan, master of darkness and Motleyfag's mom's savaded asshole.
mrnoodle - 4/4/2006 10:46:38 AM Saw Testament with Skolnick a month or two ago in Denver. He's growing his hair back out and was WAY more into the performance than on the DVD. It was like the old days.
analgravy2 - 4/2/2006 11:46:07 PM Lord of the Rings just went broadway. Slapping Young Fag's lead singer, Gollum, jerked off Frodo in a hot facial frenzy.
Blobber - 4/2/2006 6:00:30 PM I saw Skolnick beat the shit out of a hippie at a Rainbow Family gathering in Ukiah when the hippie bogarted Skolnick's joint.
Mummyman - 4/1/2006 10:28:46 AM I tend to side with Deadguy. At this point i'd prefer Alex to do his own thing and let Testament move forward with a fresh set of players. As long as Eric and Chuck are in the mix- i'm good. The Gathering is one of the greatest releases of it's kind and if they go this route again, No fan can be pissed
skullbasher - 4/1/2006 9:54:14 AM Will the WB frog be there as well? Gaaad I hope so.
Blobber - 3/31/2006 8:18:45 PM Blobber used to be in a punk band that did the theme from Barney Miller. We could have been giants, 'cept the singer overdosed on laxatives.
metaldominator - 3/31/2006 5:42:52 AM he evolved as a musician and a person and landed this gig. I ain't gonna see the show...but give the guy his props, he can play the fucking guitar. good for you Alex !!!!
CashforChaos - 3/30/2006 4:15:36 AM Supposedly Testament will tour with all original members including Skolnik. Murphy had battle with cancer himself. "Trail of Tears" off the "Low" release is one of the best tunes off of that one.
judasbishop - 3/30/2006 3:35:16 AM gay "jokes" are proof that you're not gay to the people that you imagine need proof that you're not gay.
analgravy2 - 3/30/2006 2:40:51 AM If you're going to go broadway, you might as well become orginal and to broadgay. I love shoving the hot neck of a bass guitar into my colon and then having someone slap bass the Seinfeld theme until I orgasm, shit myself, and pass out.
dtcaitens - 3/30/2006 1:24:59 AM wtf? Alex is one of the most amazing players to ever grace metal.............but Broadway?
oldschoolstoner - 3/30/2006 12:41:11 AM say it aint so,what the fuck is he thinking?
cocainebooger - 3/29/2006 11:08:06 AM YOU'RE RIGHT DEADGUY. LOW BLEW ME AWAY. FUCKIN' JAMES MURPHY KILLS ALL OVER THAT ALBUM. DOG FACED GODS, HAIL MARY...THAT'S SOME WICKED SHIT FOR TESTAMENT. I HAVEN'T EVER SEEN ALEX WITH THEM AFTERWARDS BUT, I CAN IMAGINE. TOO BAD. WHAT'S JAMES DOIN' NOWADAYS? ANYBODY?
deadguy - 3/29/2006 10:00:46 AM Alex is a great musician, but his heart is not into metal anymore...take a look at the London gig DVD, he just doesn't fit with the rest of the band anymore! I mean, his playing is flawless but Alex doesn't look comfortable onstage and to be honest Testament's latest albums (the Gathering, Low, etc.) are as good if not better than those when Alex was still in the band.
