FASTEST LAND ANIMAL was born while the world was on hold. Longtime friends “Screamin’ Jack Novak”, “Alfonse Castillo”, and “Shark Samuels” crafted their 2021 self-titled debut with the help of legendary producer Don Gilmour. While this trio has played together previously in another band, FASTEST LAND ANIMAL is different.
Gone is the Post-Grunge sound of their past. With this venture the band embraces the late ‘70s early ‘80s underground. FASTEST LAND ANIMAL recently released their sophomore album East Coast, West Coast, In Between on their own imprint Listen Records. I had the chance to catch up with “Screamin’ Jack Novak” prior to their US tour with TESLA.
