From IronMaiden.com:

Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson has many talents. In addition to the lead role as singer and songwriter for Iron Maiden, Bruce hosts a Radio Rock show each week for the British Broadcasting Corporation; presents occasional TV Documentaries, and is First officer for the British Airline, Astraeus.

During Maiden's last tour, much to the delight of British fans Bruce, in his piloting capacity, chartered a Boeing 757 from Gatwick to Rejavakik, Iceland and Dublin, Ireland to see Maiden perform. The fans were knocked out with the Bruce Air 666 experience, and in response to repeated requests from Scandinavia fans, Bruce will now fly a very special route from Stockholm to Milan during Iron Maiden's forthcoming Winter Tour 2006!

Scandinavian tickets for the 2006 tour, which went on sale back in February, just flew out the door - all 95,000 tickets sold out almost immediately.

Here in Sweden all three of the original shows sold out in just over an hour! A third date was immediately added at the Stockholm Globe which sold straight out in hours giving an amazing total of 48,000 sold out Swedish tickets.

Bruce Dickinson says 'As you can't get tickets for a Maiden show in Sweden for love nor money, I thought it would be a very special experience to personally fly our very amazing Swedish fans from Stockholm to witness two Iron Maiden shows in Milan! I also made sure that our fan club members were offered first access to Bruce Air, Flight 666'.

Details of this very special trip are: -

Saturday 2nd December flying STOCKHOLM Arlanda to MILAN Malpsensa Airport to see Iron Maiden perform TWO nights at the Milan Forum on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December. Returning to Stockholm early hours of Monday morning.

Special exertion price of SEK 8,000 to include:
* Return flight on Bruce Air Flight 666, piloted by Bruce
* Exclusive Bruce Air in-flight goodie bag
* One night's bed and breakfast at hotel near to venue
* Standing ticket to Iron Maiden concert for BOTH concerts
* Advance privileged access to the venue to allow first access to the stage barrier
* Souvenir photo of the passengers of Flight 666 on the Iron Maiden stage with Bruce Dickinson (to be taken before the venue doors open to the public), and signed by Bruce Dickinson

(Price includes airport taxes, internal transport between the airport and hotel and is based on sharing twin room at hotel). Management reserve the right to amend the schedule accordingly.

From the current album to the 2008 tour, Bruce gives a lot of insight and raises the bar of our expectations. Read more below. Bruce first talks about the writing and the recording process that have led to 'A Matter of Life and Death', and also goes into more details about his voice performance. He mentions that 'Brave New World' didn't break into new territory, while 'Dance of Death' did in some regards. Some of it worked, some of it didn't, but it paved the way to 'A Matter of Life and Death' which he's really proud of but will take at least a few weeks for the listener to get into. In other news, it seems that Bruce's record company signed a 3 album deal with him, so it's not the end of his solo career ! Talking about his own music, he even mentions that he might probably create the soundtrack of a movie he's writing the script for. This project will go ahead next January. After talking diplomatically of Paul Di'Anno (stating that he's making a living the best he can -by singing- and that no one is confused between Maiden with Paul and Maiden with Bruce anyway), he shares some interesting thoughts about producers, namely Martin and Kevin. But what will certainly stir Maiden fans around the world is that Bruce announces that 2008 will probably see the biggest Maiden festival tour ever ! The Powerslave stage set will be rebuilt. And it might even be a bit bigger ! It means that the History DVD part II is coming soon. We learn it will cover 4 albums. LOMAG - 6/14/2006 5:12:47 PM
I'd like to be the first to suggest the Dixxie-Maidens as a new, more suitable name for the politically charged former masters of metal.

LOMAG - 6/14/2006 4:52:27 PM
EGX's are ruining my ranting pleasure- I want my gd money back knac!!!

EGX500 - 6/14/2006 2:08:52 PM
For the final time you daft stalking moron EGX5"OO"... I was into them when I was a kid, I saw them every tour till Powerslave, including Powerslave. Maiden is lost in yesteryear.. the best shows were with Paul D. Bruce is an arrogant moron, Ive met him a few times. the rest of the band is OK.. nothing that great. Their music is useless and dated. Its cartoonish..

EGX5OO - 6/14/2006 10:26:44 AM

EGX501 - 6/13/2006 3:23:12 PM
Sometimes I get so excited by my love for Geoff that I need to write a whole bunch of rants in a row, I just can't stop myself once I get horny for my man, the metal god Geoff Tate.

EGX501 - 6/13/2006 3:22:12 PM
I love Geoff Tate's big fat dong. It makes me feel so good. I don't like Iron Maiden though. They don't write songs as good as Desert Dance by Queensryce.

canuckle - 6/13/2006 3:10:02 PM
Whooo hoooo more songs about magic wizards, dragons and little elves saving princesses from evil castles!

Dick_of_Death - 6/13/2006 2:56:18 PM
