Collector's Box To Feature All

In 1978, each member of KISS - Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss released solo albums. Each of the albums are now to be reissued individually on picture disc CDs and together in a Collector's Box.

Due for release in July, each picture disc CD features an original replica of the 1978 releases.

The Collector's Box features all four albums on picture disc CD. The titles have never before been released together and the CDs are offset and packaged in individual cardboard sleeves which are housed in an accordion-style PVC.

ummm i guess alot of you folks need some knowledge dropped on you, kiss is the hottest band in the land, always have been , always will be.99% of the bands out there wish they had 1/10 of the success kiss has. kiss ( and yes a handful of bands) have helped pave the way for bands of today, by showing newer bands how it's done. NO band can match kiss onstage, even for '60" year olds, how pathitic is that? kiss have influenced EVERYONE from hank williams jr to dimebag darrell. now i will give you that the "best of" crap is getting over blown, but tell me how many other bands have a best of album? or two? or three? fact is i'd much rather hear yet another "best of" from kiss than be subjected to a new piece of shit like st. anger anyday.so all you nay sayers just remember one thing..kiss taught all the bands like avenged sevenfold and bullet for my valentines of the world how to do it correctly."i am the lord of the wasteland a mordern day man of steel i gather darkness to please me and i command you to kneal"..by the way can't wait for paul stanleys solo cd to come out!

BrokenClone - 6/27/2006 1:04:23 AM
Somebody should remind KISS that Halloween is only once a year.

BrokenClone - 6/27/2006 12:59:14 AM
EGADS!!! Why?!?!?!

forest1979 - 6/26/2006 8:33:43 PM
Fact facts - the music has basically been secondary for KI$$ to the marketing and the money making as soon as they became famous. The music was a front for it and now it's even more obvious how low the value of music has against the overall marketing machine when, for example, records from the 1970s - and not good ones - get rehashed. It's just corporate attitudes gone mad - two stand-ins in the Criss and Ace make up and stupid fans buy into it!!!!! Coffee shops, condoms, coffins - anything to raise a $ but if the fans keep feeding the machine then $immon$ and Co will continue to exploit them because he obviously feels he still needs the money. Frown sums it up best.

analgravy2 - 6/26/2006 6:34:31 PM
The game is over. But yourselves the KISS Koffins and bury yourselves in all the KISS Kash you've siphoned from their loyal fans over the years.

Kiss fans, I have been with Kiss since Alive I. I wasnt really into them during the non-makeup years but still followed their path. I went to the reunions shows, bought Psycho Circus, went to that tour, then went to the Farwell Tour. It wasnt a farewell tour at all. ANd Kiss just seems to be pumping out everything they can to keep earning money on their former greatness. The incarnation of the latest version of Kiss and this solo album re-release is just a money making scheme. Kiss does not care about its fans, it cares about their fans money. And now that we are all older and making our own money, it seems that Simmons is just trying to get your money instead of your parents when they were shelling it out for you as a kid. This solo album box set is nothing more than a way for Simmons to pay his rent. He is reissuing this because he cant make decent music on his own anymore. You can say, he is a great business man....whatever! Send a message to this fat clown and dont buy this. Make him do something new that is worthwhile, not make more money on the past. How many more times can he expect people to keep buying the same songs over and over. Plus, Peters and Genes solo albums sucked. Enough is enough. If Simmons and company want to continue being Kiss, and have stand ins for Frehely and Criss, then the decent thing to do is release new material that is worth buying and have the decentcy to invent the next level of costumes. Please kiss fans, dont buy this.
