Dark Vission Entertainment, the promoters of the 2006 Monterrey Metal Fest (www.mmf.com.mx), announce that Slayer will be the headliner of the 3rd edition of the festival that will be held on Saturday, September 23rd at the Coca Cola Auditorium in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The official festival pre-party will be held on Friday, September 22nd at the Cafe Iguana with mini-sets from bands that will be performing on the festival's Main Stage and 2nd Stage.
The 2006 Monterrey Metal Festival edition promises to be the biggest and baddest version yet, which will feature 6 - 7 of the biggest names in heavy metal music from all over the world on the Main Stage and 6 - 7 up and coming bands on the 2nd Stage.
An announcement will be made in the coming days with the festival Main Stage and 2nd stage bands selected to perform this year.
