One of the most exciting sets on the main stage at Ozzfest this summer was Lacuna Coil. Italian Goddess Cristina Scabbia vocals soared, as the band proved to be one of the driving forces of the summer.
The band was dressed in black and white pinstripes, while singer Cristina Scabbia sported a schoolgirl look with her pinstripe pants and boots. Cristina, who is very petite, has an amazing vocal style that filled the arena.
One interesting thing about Lacuna Coil is that they feature two singers. Along with Cristina, male singer Andrea Ferro belts out the vocals. The two styles blend well giving the band a really full sound.
Opening with "Heavens A Lie", Lacuna Coil dominated the main stage with their smooth set. Highlights of the set included the first single off of, "Karmacode", "Our Truth". Cristina really showcased her strong vocals, and dominant stage presence, making Lacuna Coil one of the most exciting bands in metal today.

Blobber - 8/24/2006 5:49:36 PM Yes...if the opportunity presented itself, blobber would have sexual intercourse with the young lass. However, God hates me and has doomed me to rant on this fucking message board.
Mummyman - 8/24/2006 11:45:11 AM My bottom line on this band is: She can sing and look good doing it....Too many songs sound the same, plod along and just fizzle out. I vote thumbs down...D-list material. Basically they are Nu Metals version of No Doubt...the girl gets all the press and will eventually fade out.
