On April 6th, 2024, the co-headlining tour with HAIL THE SUN and INTERVALS played in Boston, Massachusetts. They were joined by MAKARI, a rock band from Florida, and BODY THIEF, a quick-growing band from Maryland. The tour kicked off the weekend at the beloved Paradise Rock Club, located roughly a mile from Fenway Park.

Unfortunately, due to an issue with collecting my photo pass, I was unable to catch the opener, MAKARI's set. Luckily, I had a fan to fill me in. "I'd say not knowing them very well first hand, it was an awesome experience. I got to find a new band that I really love!" Kiara also mentioned it was her first concert, following up with "the crowd work was insane, and they're definitely worth seeing."

MAKARI played a setlist of seven songs, a few being, "Breakers", "Soulstealer" and "Closer" all from the album titled, Wave Machine. Their set came to an end with their hit song, "Transient".

BODY THIEF did an amazing job at warming up the crowd. Despite being a smaller band, Boston showed up and supported them. Although their setlist was short, the crowd did not disappoint. The fans continued to show love while rocking out to songs such as "Dead Hearts", "Death, Drugs and Dancing" and "Ego Displacement", all of which can be listened to off of their album, Every Ending.

The Canadian band, INTERVALS took the stage and instantly, the crowd was rowdy. Every song they got more excited, encouraging the band with their loud screaming and clapping. Many people yelled out in-between songs, keeping the crowd energized.

INTERVALS went on to play tons of their well-loved songs. The setlist included their newest single, "Neurogenisis". Also added in was an unreleased song, titled "Nootropic".

As the lights dimmed the people went wild. Before HAIL THE SUN stepped on stage, the room was loud. The couple hundred fans were eager to see the band. Their performance was lively. There was lots of movement and jumping around the stage, including concert-goers who surfed their way to barricade.

HAIL THE SUN's setlist was comprised of popular songs, such as "Maladapted" off of their album, Divine Inner Tension. The song has over a million streams on Spotify, and two-hundred thousand views on the official music video. The setlist also included "Secondary Worship", "Made Your Mark" and "Mind Reader".

After the show, I was able to ask a long-time fan of HAIL THE SUN, Pili, what they thought of the show. "The band has been phenomenal, not only as musical artists but as performers. Donovan Melero made sure to connect with the crowd and kept the crowd on their toes the whole time with his expressive approach towards every song that was played; whilst also interacting with the members of the band. It was a harmonious show with wild energy that kept the crowd engaged."
