New Kittie Album is "All Finished"

Drummer Mercedes Lander of Kittie has issued the following update via the band's MySpace page:
"Hey guys,
As you all may have guessed we are back from NJ and our new album is all finished. I must say that it sounds absolutely amazing and I think you all will be as pleased as we are with the finished album. I cant wait for you all to hear it, but that wont happen until at least March of 2007.
Also, be on the lookout for a new update on the tracklisting and album title in the near future. We will be putting up some full songs on our Myspace page hopefully soon so you guys can have a taste of whats to come with the new album. :)
On top of that, Morgan and I have been working with a very talented artist and are in the process of putting the finishing touches on some killer album artwork, so be on the look out for a preview of that as well.
Thank you guys so much for all the amazing feedback we have been getting from the demo clips we put up a while back. Those songs will be on the new album, so dont fret. :)
SKULLKRUSHER_76 - 10/21/2006 3:30:09 AM I saw Kittie live before and I enjoyed their show. I always dismiss the first album, but their second and third one (Oracle & Until The End) are very good. I understand that they'll actually have guitar solos on this new record. That I'm looking forward to. I know that Walls of Jericho and Arch Enemy are sonically more destructive, but you gotta give Kittie some degree of respect. They went from a shit album like Spit into a more aggressive sound that borders on the hardcore/death metal sense. They're not trying to reinvent anything and you can tell by listening to them. And if they suck live compared to what they put down on disc; how many other bands are like that? I think of plenty. Kittie, as well as Walls of Jericho and Arch Enemy are 3 of the best bands out there today. I give Kittie props because they're still out there to this day. Sometimes you have to take a few whacks at your career before you come up with your own Stairway to Heaven, or Free Bird, or Back In Black...know what I mean? METAL WARRIORS DOMINATE ! ! ! ! !
