There are many aspects that have made Death Metal the most extreme music on the planet. The boundaries were broken and expanded by the musicians who knew no boundaries. Drumming has been one if not the most important cog in its songwriting. One drummer who's elevated the game early on was Pete Sandoval. His early work with MORBID ANGEL gained him the title of G.O.A.T. and he brings that extreme music for extreme people back once again with David Vincent (original Bassist/Vocalist for MORBID ANGEL) in their vision known as I AM MORBID.

On their Los Angeles stop for the DEVASTATION ON THE NATION tour, I had an opportunity to talk to the Legend himself about his drumming-style, the tour and much more.
