Christian rockers Stryper are busy recording their new album. According to Metalforjesus.org, the track 'My Love I'll Always Show' (rock version) will be added to the new record since it fit's what the band is trying to do now musically. Michael Sweet says "We begin laying down vocal tracks over the next few weeks. We're finished with all the tracking, other than vocals. We start mixing in October. We're covering the song 'Peace of Mind' by Boston and Tom Scholz (Boston guitarist) is joining us to play guitar on that song. The whole record is sounding incredible!"
Randy Piper's Animal is nearing completion on a new DVD. The project from ex-W.A.S.P. guitarist Randy Piper has issued the following update on the DVD: "The Animal In Me - approx. 50 min. film about Animal, 1988-2007/making of the new album, rehearsals, interviews, old and new stuff. - Live videos, 8 tracks. (Total running time approx 95min.) The DVD will also include a CD with one new track from the forthcoming album AND some live songs from the Stockholm show in Sweden, June '07."
Escape Music Ltd. has announced the signing of the new rock band Airtime, featuring Rik Emmet (ex-Triumph) on lead vocals and all guitars and basses; and Michael Shotton (Von Groove) on drums, percussion, noises, keyboards and background vocals. The title of the album is Liberty Manifesto and is scheduled for release in the week of November 19th.
Paul Rodgers (Queen, Bad Company, Free) married former Miss Canada, Exercise Physiologist and Artist Cynthia Kereluk in a surprise outdoor wedding ceremony on their 10th anniversary. According to a press release, "the guests were invited to a garden party at their country home and were informed that the entertainment would begin at 7 pm - at which time it was announced by Paul that the guests were actually attending their wedding. So, under a rising moonlit sky of shooting stars, in Canada's Okanagan Valley, Rodgers and Kereluk exchanged vows before 70 of their closest friends and family. The most humorous moment occurred when Cynthia was asked do you take this man to be your husband and she responded with, "Absolutely!" and then added, "I do." "There is magic on earth," said Paul.

The dates have been announced and are as follows: December, 17 – Cardiff, UK - The Point, 18 - Bristol, UK - Thekla, 19 - Dudley, UK - JB's, 21 - Leeds, UK - Rio, 22 - Nottingham, UK - Rock City, 23 - London, UK - Underworld.
Salt Lake City, Utah's Halloween Havoc 2007 featurs Sixx A.M., Airbourne, Five Finger Death Punch and Korn. The show is scheduled for Thursday, October 25th at The E-Center.
