Down to earth and cool as a dead fat guitarist with an IQ of 82...submoronic and with a fat, alcoholic brother who's pimping out the dead. let's no forget brother Phil (moment of heroin silence please)...ah, just shit my pants thinking about the 207 copies this fine piece of literature will sell. Skullhomo...did you miss me?

lovetroll - 11/13/2008 6:35:08 AM
That's the nature of capitalism, so if you can throw a 90 mph fastball...you just might make a few million per year. The alcohol/drug thing typical of Pantera and such bands is shameful, if I might digress.

Btw, I didn't realize Vinnie could even read and write. Regardless, the book will contain of only one and two syllable words--perhaps even a three syllable word as well, but I wouldn't count on it. The book will be mainly gibberish, consisting of rehashed stories stinking of booze. Vinnie will go on about how Dime drank fifteen quarts a day; how they all drank; how they drank in the morning, lunch and at dinner time; how they often drank until they pissed themselves, etc. I'm getting a hang-over just thinking about this book.

phrydom - 11/13/2008 3:57:07 AM
I'm waiting for the book to come out on audio CD.

That said lets all run to the Junk yard and find that old beat-up Pantera 1st tour bus. Yeah right, like that thing hasnt completely fallen apart by now. We can sell pcs of it I guess.

CallemasI - 11/12/2008 12:49:15 PM
Hi Kill, Further to this discussion, if I were a Major Label artist, I would try and scoff every bloody thing that wasn't bolted down, during my time in the spotlight.Once it ended, you would find everything on EBAY to keep the mortgage paid.IE: FOR SALE: DETROIT HILTON BEDSHEET SLEPT IN BY PANTERA on the Cowboys tour. Comes with stain resembling Rattlesnake logo. FOR SALE: EMPTY COORS LIGHT CAN drank by Tommy Lee as he was getting his head shaved by Pantera. Etc Etc. I'd be Fred Sanford of the Music scene, with my second tour bus right behind me full of odds and ends!

Ownedbyskull - 11/12/2008 12:23:45 PM
It would be SO funny though if this book did make the NY Times best seller list. I know I'd be laughing....The piont is: Vinnie by no means is selling out by doing this. These guys have always been down to earth and cool as shit, for the fans mutherfuckers and if ya dont know that ya havent been following it that much.

CallemasI - 11/12/2008 12:20:53 PM
Point taken...LOL!

Ownedbyskull - 11/12/2008 11:37:48 AM
"O-up, there goes the COFFEE POT!" Dontcha just LOVE those Old Pantera Home videos?

killthepuppets - 11/12/2008 11:34:27 AM
CallemasI - 11/12/2008 9:01:55 AM Marketing is the sweetest plum next to the gate. I suspect they are /were in pretty good shape financially. I know I own a couple PANTERA shirts...you?...THE WEED CONSUMPTION AND THE HOTEL ROOM DESTROYING CAN TAKE A PRETTY PENNY FROM THOSE WEEKLY CHECKS...

Ownedbyskull - 11/12/2008 11:24:41 AM
That said it'll be interesting to see if all the SPORTS TEAMS will still be giving out all these gazillions to these MORONS whi hit, kick, throw THE BALL.
