Treasure Chest Through Metal-Is Records On April 9th
Most Comprehensive Collection Of Band's Work Ever Compiled!
Helloween have been among Germany's most successful exports of the last decade and a half, selling gold status records throughout the world. The Hamburg quintet has carved a formidable reputation as a take-no-prisoners live act, winning them die-hard fan followings everywhere, and influencing an entire sub-genre of Heavy Metal music.
Metal-Is Records, a division of the Sanctuary Records Group, is pleased to unveil Treasure Chest, the defining Helloween anthology! This fantastic 29-song compilation illustrates the band's entire career, from the debut EP Helloween through the last studio effort The Dark Ride.
"We intended to pack the capacity of the CDs up to the very limit," explains founding member and lead guitarist Michael Weikath. The 2-CD set clocks in at over 157 minutes of pure Helloween at its very best.
Treasure Chest also features brand new remixes of some of the band's best-known songs, like "Dr. Stein" and "Keeper Of The Seven Keys," by famed producer/engineer Charlie Bauerfeind (Blind Guardian, Halford, Motörhead, Gamma Ray, etc.), and this collection has the honor of being compiled and prepared by members of the band! In addition to the beautiful cover art, the package highlights include many rare photographs of the band going back to their formative years, a detailed 'family tree' of Helloween history, as well as extensive liner notes.
