Check out my shots (below) from the photo pit June 19th at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA. Plus, be sure to pre-order your copy of Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier (available August 17th) in the KNAC.COM More Store. Click here.
NSMFB - 7/27/2010 7:34:54 AM NUCLEARSKULL-N-MUTHAFUCKIN BONES AFFIRMED MUTHAFUCKERS!
parasite13013 - 7/20/2010 3:28:54 PM If you wanted the old shit..... you should have went to last tour you dipshit! New material is ALWAYS better anyway. How many more fuckin times do we need to hear The Trooper, Number of the Beast, 2 Minutes, Run to the hills etc????? Those songs are on just about every live album anyway.
The_Space_Lord - 7/19/2010 7:28:01 PM Rush are in fairly high demand in Europe but not as much as Maiden are. A 3-hour Rush show can happen at a festival like Bluesfest in Ottawa but not so much as, say, Glastonbury, Roskilde, Pink Pop Festival, etc.
phrydom - 7/14/2010 4:55:42 AM Zeppelin use to do three hour shows, and they didn't stand around. And if all this "activity" is costing the band to playing smaller sets, then I suggest: calm down, pace yourselves so the audience gets what they deserve.
Imotorhead - 7/14/2010 12:21:01 AM Once again Dunderstruck you forget that even when Van Halen reunited they did 20 plus songs! Why or why can't your precious Maiden ever play a 2 hour or 20 song set show or take an intermission and come back for a longer set? Yes, Rush may not be the live act of Maiden but at least there are still some bands who give us a real show for the limited amount of times we get to see them, especially since they are getting older it appears it will never happen with Maiden. Keep on kissing there ass!
phrydom - 7/13/2010 2:49:47 PM Iron Maiden must have the better European tours as oppose to Rush. Iron Maiden are in greater demand internationally, I would assume. Rush is a popular North American touring band, but--enlighten me: Does Rush even have big European tours?
parasite13013 - 7/12/2010 12:27:55 PM Rush doesn't put on half the show Maiden does either. Anyone can stand in the same spot and play for 3+ hours.
metaldominator - 7/11/2010 5:07:49 AM Rush plays 28 songs on there current tour over about 3 hours.
Idunderhead - 7/8/2010 9:56:34 AM I am back for the sole purpose of bitching and moaning about how many songs Iron Maiden plays in concert. I have my stopwatch and notepad ready and I will time ever show on this tour if I have to.
MrkyMcSkullrson - 7/6/2010 12:00:06 PM Check out my Psycho Fuckin Maniac site for NuclearSkull band merch and bumper stickers \m/
skullsmasher - 7/6/2010 8:24:53 AM BTW great photos
skullsmasher - 7/6/2010 8:24:15 AM Great band, I saw them in New Mexico on June 18 or something like that. I thought it was a great performance. I like hearing tunes that are fresher than the usual ones that are expected. The last tour kicked ass as well. I just hope they keep it up. Can hardly wait for the new album.
magor - 7/3/2010 11:12:48 PM Does anyone here know if they're touring Europe after the U.S. tour? I'm pining to see an emphasis on their newer material, (especially 'Dance of Death' material), minus the very last album, A Matter of Life and Death which seems somewhat contrived. It doesn't sound commercial per se, just too formulaic, with too many passages ripped from previous releases of theirs. I hope the new album will be more unique like their others.
metalpimplehead - 7/3/2010 8:09:14 PM Janick Gers...The Iron Maiden sideshow. Useless musician.
Imotorhead - 7/2/2010 1:19:01 AM Yes, another great band who gives us only 15 songs. I didn't care much for the set list either. I mean Brave new World was the only album out of the last three I really liked. Just think of how the farewell tour will be 12 songs. At least Rush and teh Scorpions are playing 2o plus songs and 2 hurs plus sets.
