Judas Priest Announce North American Epitaph Dates; Working On New Material By Tokemaster General, Contributor Tuesday, May 24, 2011 @ 4:33 PM
Complete report from Gnarly Charlie including exclusive photos, coming soon!
British metal gods JUDAS PRIEST held a press conference today at the Renaissance Hotel at Highland and Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA which included the official introduction of the band's new guitarist, Richie Faulkner (DIRTY DEEDS, VOODOO SIX, LAUREN HARRIS) and the announcement of the first North American leg of their Epitaph Tour.
Greg Prato from Rolling Stone attended the event and asked guitarist Glenn Tipton if it's true this will be the band's final tour: "If somebody came along and said, 'Would you do a small string of dates,' we wouldn’t automatically say no to that. But in general, this is probably the last chance you'll get to see Priest live."
Rob Halford added that Priest are working on new material: "We wanted to make at least one more great metal album that really represents all the wonderful things we've tried to do. If things go as planned, we want to get this out by the summer of next year."
