While Frontiers Music has put together a lot of supergroups over the past 25 years, President Serafino Perugino appears very excited and proud of CROWNE in particular. Perugino has every reason to be, as CROWNE arrived in 2021 with almost unanimous praise for their debut album Kings In The North.

CROWNE brings together a who’s who of the Swedish Hard Rock scene including guitarist/keys/producer Jona Tee (H.E.A.T.), bassist John Levén (EUROPE), drummer Christian Lundqvist (THE POODLES), guitarist Love Magnusson (DYNAZTY), and frontman Alexander Strandell (ART NATION).

CROWNE’s latest album Operation Phoenix was released on January 27, 2023. I had the chance to speak with vocalist Alexander Strandell a couple of days prior.
