VIO-LENCE's long-awaited DVD "Blood & Dirt" is scheduled to hit streets Tuesday, August 8th, on Megaforce Records. Directed by Jerry Allen of "Tales From The Pit" video magazine, the 2-disc set clocks in at over 3 1/2 hours.
Disc 1 features a 90-minute documentary with ultra rare Vio clips and photos, as well as interviews with everyone who was in the band, friends, managers, other bands, etc.
Disc 2 features the entire live set from their 2001 comeback show at the "Thrash of the Titans" benefit, a half-set from Slim's 2001, The Stone '93 and performances from their farewell 420 gig at the Pound S.F in 2003.
This is a must have for all fans of the Bay Area Thrash scene.
"All of us former Vio-members want to thank you all for your interest and support of the band. From the early days to the final reunion shows, we've always had a very loyal following and owe all the success we achieved to you. The DVD serves as our final release and function as a band. There will be no more re-releases, reunions or re-anything. We had a blast writing and performing for you and once again, wholeheartedly, thank you all for it." - Guitarist Phil Demmel
