Metal Mind Productions has announced the re-release of two Lillian Axe albums: Lillian Axe and Love And War. According to a press release, "Lillian Axe is one of those bands that managed to gather a truly loyal following during their career, but never really got the credit they deserved from the media. But despite the lack of commercial success, the band kept making new albums and continued their musical journey, only to become a cult act nowadays. Their latest offering Waters Rising proves that Lillian Axe haven't lost their touch in delivering brilliant songwriting backed with a handful of catchy melodies."
Paul Bostaph (ex-Slayer/Exodus) will join the ranks alongside originating classic thrash legends Chuck Billy on vocals, Alex Skolnick on lead guitar, Eric Peterson on rhythm guitar and Greg Christian on bass. Unfortunately Nick Barker (ex-Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth) will not be recording with Testament on this new album, due to Homeland Security and International Work Visa issues. Rather than delaying this long awaited return of Testament, the band has chosen to recruit Paul Bostaph, long time friend and member, to record on the much anticipated album, which is tentatively scheduled for a spring 2008 release via Nuclear Blast.
According to the BBC News, Led Zeppelin fans have been told they may be refused entry to the band's reunion gig if they paid for tickets using someone else's credit card. Several thousand people won a password allowing them to purchase tickets in a lottery draw earlier this week. But promoters now say that tickets will be cancelled if the password holder's name is not the same as the one on the card used to pay for the tickets. Fans have reacted angrily, claiming the terms changed after they made payments. They say it was not made clear that the passwords were non-transferable in the initial email sent to ballot winners.

Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash recently commented on a possible Guns N' Roses reunion. He said, "With Guns N' Roses there’s a phenomenon about it where people are so obsessed with what happened with it that they’re having a hard time letting that go. And as prevalent as it is in the media and on the Internet and all that other kind of stuff, there hasn’t been any kind of discussion between the original members of getting that band back together."
