Robert Plant and Jon Bon Jovi have won country music awards. Plant won a CMT Award Monday night for teaming up with Alison Krauss on the song 'Gone, Gone, Gone (Done Moved On)'. Plant said it was "peculiar" to be getting an award. He thanked his Led Zeppelin bandmembers for getting him through his teenage years and thanks Krauss for helping him get through his 50's.
Bon Jovi won his CMT for best collaborative video for 'Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore." He wasn't there, but Rimes accepted it and cracked that she had "a lot of fun rolling around with Jon in bed." But afterward, she gazed at her husband in the crowd and added: "Sorry, honey. I love you. You're hotter."
Soulfly are set to release their forthcoming new album, Conquer, on July 29th via Roadrunner Records. Working titles for some of the 13 songs which were tracked include 'Burndown', 'Enemy Ghost', 'Axis Of Wrath' and 'Blood, Fire, War, Hate'.
